Luna Moonz has been practicing yoga alongside bellydance for almost 20 years to increase flexibility, strength, and endurance. She began studying the asanas for the physical benefits but soon found her spiritual enlightenment through the asanas by connecting to Source. In 2018, Luna had the opportunity to attend a yoga and bellydance retreat in Ko Samui, Thailand. There she studied the style ViniYoga, created by Gary Kraftsow. Luna is currently studying the Kaivalya Yoga method.
Luna Moonz discovered guided meditation at the recommendation of her acupuncturist. Through meditation, Luna discovered many benefits to her physical and mental well-being. Luna Moonz is currently taking sannyasas with the Indian master Osho Rajneesh, the creator of the most powerful dynamic meditation techniques today, and a new system of sannyasa. Sannyasa is a Sanskrit term that refers to a stage in a person’s life, or spiritual development, in which one renounces material possessions to concentrate purely on spiritual matters. Their goal at this point is to achieve moksha, which is liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth. Very advanced yogis may seek out this sort of lifestyle to deepen or even complete their spiritual yoga journey.
